Construction started
on the Runway today to see some pictures of it click on the link at the

On July 26 1999 the county
done the final rolling on the runway. It is a lot smoother than our grass
one. Ron Wheeler's plane lifted off the runway 3 times with 2" wheels and
no problems, so that isn't to bad.
Eufaula Municipal Airport.
Plans included a 30' X 250' chip seal
North-South runway, DONE
With an adjacent alternate
200' grass strip North-South runway. Extending
to 250'also
An East-West grass strip
runway may also be constructed. (We are working
on it now)
The club meets regularly
at 7:00 p.m. In the Conference Room at the City Hall On main street
On the Second Tuesday of
each month
The public is invited. Meeting
activities include program speakers,
videos, and general discussion.
Members and guests are encouraged to
bring models for display
and discussion, which may include airplanes,
boats, cars and trucks,
or other types.
During good weather, the
club holds FUN FLY! sessions Every Saturday & Sunday
at the flying field
Everyone is invited to come
watch or
Bring your models and fly,
AMA membership is required for Insurance purposes.
The Lake Eufaula Radio Control
Modelers Club has the mission to
promote the art and skills
of building and operating radio controlled
airplanes, gliders, boats,
cars, trucks, and other devices. There are
no age limitations for enjoying
these activities, thus youngsters and
oldsters may participate.
Pre-teen youths should be accompanied by
an adult at the flying field.
